Catherine Morin, a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, transitions from the field of photography to painting, with occasional forays into sculpture. Her approach is characterized by an in-depth exploration of the human condition, questioning societal and economic norms and values. Morin's works are imbued with her personal life as well as the themes that move her, featuring expressive and detailed faces that embody the starting point of her paintings.
